Foot Fetish Friday - Pearl Velvet...

Pearlescent and iridescent materials were having a big moment on the S/S 2012 catwalks. Nicolas Ghesquiere opened his show at Balenciaga with a boxy black wide dropped shoulder jacket with contrast front panels in this shade using a high shine/high tech satin and La Lagerfeld showed several looks with a pearlescent/iridescent sheen about them at Chanel.  The Spring catwalks also had a major bridal thing going on too {I will be doing a big post with lots of cool inspirational images over the weekend when I tell all about the wedding dress project I have just taken on} and the below pointed toe Cinderella-esque mule from Miu Miu and round toe pump from Dolce would work beautifully on any brides toes, really feeling the idea of summer velvet...
