New York Fashion Week began on Wednesday and so the crazy carousel or catwalk month begins. So, what will we all be wearing / lusting after next Spring/Summer I wonder? Well if Cushnie et Ochs and Resort 2012 Mugler are anything to go by I think that dressing top-to-toe in shades of the same color will be 2012's answer to the S/S 2011 colour block craze. I think in alot of ways this styling idea is alot easier to wear and carry off. Simply choose your fave colour {gelato tones work well} and get to work. Charity/thrift stores, car boot sales and vintage shops/fairs are a great place to pick up cheaper separates that can be mixed together with a killer shoe/bag/accessory {or all of the above} to complete the look.
