Karolina Kurkova gets her glam-rock on as she mimics David Bowie's alter-ego Ziggy Stardust in a shoot for Viva! Moda Summer 2011 by Marcin Tyszka.
There seems to be a bit of a thing going on in recent editorial for models dressing up as iconic male musicians. I am kind of loving it. I always tend to go for a famous female when the dressing up party theme of 'come as a famous person' arrives as it does in some sort of annual fashion. But next time it does I am totally going for a rock god, rather than goddess. I did {and this is back in the day so would have to try to ferret out some sort of photographic evidence} do a rather cool Gene Simmons, front man of KISS years ago, hmmmmm. Anyway, last year my gorgeous, glamourous friend Siouxsie held a Monsters Ball on Halloween to celebrate her 30th birthday. So here we are below, myself an homage to Lady Gaga {well all Monster's Ball's should have one surely?}, Mr William Wilde as Freddie Mercury and the beautiful birthday girl herself Miss Webster, as a bludgeoned Bunny Girl - enjoy!
