'Be yourself everyone else is taken'...
Mr Wilde and I attended the Grayson Perry Late event at the British Museum on Friday night, a kind of craft fair housed in the Great Court. Two of William's exquisite silk kimono gowns had been shot for a short film being shown and were going to be on show - so we popped along to take a look. There were lots of different stalls doing varied craft-esque activities curated by students from the University of the Arts London. We particularly liked Evelina Simkute {CSM} and Holly Hayward {Camberwell} 'Play Japanese' collaboration - a colourful interactive installation where you could make animal netsukes, a traditional Japanese keepsake, and collect lucky omikuji fortunes. Unfortunately they had run out of plasticine when we arrived ready to make our animals {it has inspired me to host a dinner party in this theme though}. Each stall had the below pink-paper-DIY-decorated bunting around them - this flag particularly caught my eye, another example of the genius words of Oscar Wilde...
